Pole in the Park Rules

Des Moines, LLC creates a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all pole dancers and aerialists. Any behaviors that promote drama, unkindness, rudeness, monopolizing equipment, or negative talk about others are strictly prohibited, and individuals engaging in such conduct may be asked to leave.
It's important to wear suitable clothing while using the equipment, as this helps prevent bodily discomfort and ensures all participants feel at ease during the event. We encourage wearing shorts, sports bras, and crop tops. Since this is a public gathering, please choose your attire wisely. Thongs, underwear, or bras are not permitted, and you may be asked to change or leave if these guidelines are not followed.
(It lowers the risk of authorities being called, sorry ya'll!)
Using the equipment and apparatus correctly is crucial for both your health and the condition of the equipment. But please do not worry, we are here to help navigate proper usage, how to do simple spins and tricks so you may have fun and the opportunity to learn something new! Proper technique will be communicated to you before use, you got this. We are here to help you.
Improper usage may result in a warning or even a ban from using any equipment, and any damages caused by misuse can be charged to you.
All equipment has specified weight limits so please only one person is allowed on an apparatus at a time unless authorized by a Pole Des Moines, LLC equipment manager.
Maintaining control is vital for your safety and the longevity of the equipment. Without proper technique, (ex. spinning uncontrollably) you risk injury to yourself and or damage the apparatus. So please listen to Pole Des Moines hosts for safety guidelines before use.
If you lack aerial experience, please request permission before trying aerial apparatus like Lyra, Flying Pole, and Lollipop so that we can spot you or adjust the height on the apparatus. Communication is key, we want you to be safe and unharmed, no judgment here!
Pole Des Moines, LLC reserves the right to prohibit attendees from using specific or any apparatus for any reason.
Only equipment managers from Pole Des Moines, LLC are authorized to set up and take down equipment. Please do not pick up, remove, dismantle, or replace any apparatus managed by Pole Des Moines, LLC. If you need an apparatus changed, please communicate your request to the Pole Des Moines hosts.
A waiver form MUST be signed by all attendees before using any equipment managed by Pole Des Moines, LLC.
